3 FUN ACTIVITIES TO ENCOURAGE HAND DOMINANCE

1. Have your child push a car or train around a track. You can start by drawing a “street” or track on a large piece of paper with your child. Your child will stabilize his/her weight on the non-dominant hand while moving the car or train along the pathway with their dominant hand.
2. Have your child color on small pieces of paper. Your child will use one hand to stabilize the paper and the other to color!
3. You can have your child lace cards. You can create your own lacing cards by punching holes in a cardboard with a hole punch!
